Yes – all villageathome.co.uk prices include VAT at the prevailing rate.
Unless otherwise stated the price includes the base and shade as shown in the image. Some lamps in our Gregory’s range are sold as base only, however these are clearly marked, and the suggested lampshade is also available to buy on site.
All our products have dimension, bulb shape and wattage information on each relevant product page. For mobile site users, please click the + button next to 'Product Info' on the product page to reveal the information dropdown box.
Unless otherwise stated our lamps do not include bulbs. The recommended maximum wattage and bulb types are listed in the product description and should be readily available at a variety of hardware stores.
We do have a small selection of decorative bulbs and accessories available here.
With a few exceptions, the majority of our lights are suitable for LED bulbs. You can find the bulb information listed on each product.
In your basket enter your promotional code in the box labelled ‘Use Promotional Code’ and press the button ‘Use Code’ before continuing to checkout. Promotional codes are case sensitive, we recommend copying and pasting them.
For lighting products, we recommend that our products are cleaned with a soft dry cloth and abrasive materials/chemicals are never used as they may damage your product and you don’t want that! Whenever cleaning your products remember to be gentle for the same reason.
Most importantly, always switch off the power supply before cleaning. Wait until the bulb has cooled before handling.
For more information on cleaning your lighting products see our Lighting & Homeware Cleaning Tips article.

What is WEEE?
The Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires countries to maximise separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of these items.
Why recycle?
The fastest-growing type of waste in the UK is unwanted electrical equipment.
Many electrical items can be repaired or recycled, saving natural resources and the environment. If you choose not to recycle, electrical equipment will end up in landfill where hazardous substances can leak out and cause soil and water contamination, harming wildlife and also human health.
To remind you that old electrical equipment can be recycled, it is now marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. Please do not throw any electrical equipment (including those marked with this symbol) in your bin.
WEEE Takeback Service
It is now easier than ever to recycle your electrical goods. When you purchase a new electrical item from us, we will accept, free of charge, the return of an item of WEEE, provided that the item of WEEE is (a) of an equivalent type to, and (b) fulfilled the same function as the new product supplied by us to you.
This item of WEEE must be sent to us within 28 days of your purchase of the new equipment. You must cover all related postage, packaging and carrier costs.
Please send your item to:
