Pantone 19-4052 Classic Blue
Pantone has announced their colour of the year as Pantone 19-4052 Classic Blue.
You can expect to see a lot of blue in stores and home interiors this year. Deep blue is becoming an increasingly popular colour in lighting for us too. We have recently launched our new product range Keira and Velvie which feature deep blue matt velvet paired with metallics.
Deep blues are suggestive of the sky at dusk and add an element of calm and peace to homes. "What's the future going to bring as we move into the evening hours?" "We were moving into Y2K and wondering: Is the world going to fall apart?"
said Laurie Pressman, vice president of the Pantone Colour Institute. Pantone states that the Classic Blue represents a dependable and stable foundation as we cross into a new era. The shade offers the reassurance many of us may be searching for in the uncertain new decade instilling calm, confidence and connection.
